Famous Indian American Sports Women

Sunita Rao is a former tennis player who has 8 career titles on the ITF Women’s Circuit and has also reached 7 finals in the singles. Sunita, who usually plays for America has also played for India on the Fed Cup and 2008 summer Olympics (where she partnered with Sania Mirza) out of her love towards her motherland. She was top-ranked throughout her junior career and played her first WTA match at the WTA Brasil Open in the year 2002. It was in the year 2008, Sunita who was born in New Jersey has her roots in India, as her parents are basically from Karnataka.
